Jim Walrod


Toward the beginning of his career, Jim Walrod came across a copy of Dale Carnegie’s best-selling book, How to Win Friends and Influence People. Possessed with a strong desire to succeed – but, admittedly, not a lot of patience – Jim devoured the book’s advice.

In 2011, PPB Magazine, the national journal of the Promotional Products Association International, named Jim one of the marketing industry’s Rising Stars. In choosing Jim, PPB said he embodies “the characteristics of talent, ambition, persistence, leadership, originality, and an optimistic sense for what’s yet to come.” Mastering Carnegie’s timeless principles, it turns out, was a valuable endeavor.

Jim joined The Image Group in 2005 immediately after graduating from Siena Heights University with a degree in Business Administration. His energetic approach to prospecting has consistently earned him honors as the company’s top salesperson. His clients – including some Fortune 500 companies – count on Jim to help effectively position their brands.

Jim’s an active community leader, serving on the boards of United Way of Greater Toledo, Leadership Toledo, and First Tee of Lake Erie. He is a past chair of EPIC Toledo, and a former board member of Junior Achievement of Northwest Ohio.

Outside of work Jim enjoys golfing (Need a last-minute player to complete a foursome? Jim’s probably available!), fishing, and following NASCAR racing. He’s a self-taught guitar player and an avid Seinfeld watcher.
